Courses at the Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences have been accredited by a number of internationally recognised bodies.
Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences has been awarded full College accreditation by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education.
This accreditation is valid for 5 years and started on the 6th June 2015.

Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences has a close relationship with the Ministry of Health Malaysia for exchange of students through its sponsors: JPA and MARA.

The Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences is also affiliated with the following Educational establishments (and other organisations) to seek and develop joint activities and programmes for the purpose of facilitating academic exchange and cooperation in the broad field of the forensic sciences
The Academy has been accredited by Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services (ELCAS) for Approved Learning Provider status in the Ministry of Defence Enhanced Learning Credit (ELC) Scheme since January 2013
The Academy has also been recognised by the Malaysian National Specialist Register for awarding the Fellowship in Forensic Medical Sciences since 2010.
