Courses at the Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences have been accredited by a number of internationally recognised bodies.
Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences has been awarded full College accreditation by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education.
The Academy has been continually accredited as a College by the British Accreditation Council since 2015 until the end of 2023.

Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences has a close relationship with the Ministry of Health Malaysia for exchange of students through its sponsors: JPA and MARA.
The Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences is also affiliated with the following Educational establishments (and other organisations) to seek and develop joint activities and programmes for the purpose of facilitating academic exchange and cooperation in the broad field of the forensic sciences
The Academy has also been recognised by the Malaysian National Specialist Register for awarding the Fellowship in Forensic Medical Sciences since 2010.
