Diploma Examination in Forensic Human Identification
The Diploma examination has been running since 2002.
Identification of deceased and living persons is an integral part of forensic medicine and science. It is of paramount importance in any situations involving criminal and civil investigations. Successful completion of the DipFHID examination will demonstrate a good understanding and awareness of all the important issues in the identification of the deceased and the living, and the role and interaction of different specialists. It is not intended to satisfy requirements for specialisation in any particular area of identification. The Course which is linked to the Diploma examination covers a broad spectrum of techniques used in Identification.
The examination is open to all candidates who have successfully completed a course in Forensic Human Identification (DipFHID course).
