The Academy of Forensic Medical Sciences has been continually accredited as a College by the British Accreditation Council since 2015 until the end of 2023.

The British Accreditation Council accredits independent institutions in the further and higher educational sector, and has been setting standards for this sector for over 30 years. The British Accreditation Council provides a comprehensive quality assurance scheme and is the leading mark of educational quality for further and higher education. At the moment, the British Accrediation Council has granted accreditation to over 200 independent institutions in countries including the United Kingdom, Greece, Switzerland, South Africa, Mongolia, Hungary, and Ghana.
